Read more error Page builder

I have created a pagebuilder page with some text columns.
I must use readmore in some of them. When I use

<hr id="system-readmore" /> tag litteraly nothing is happening.

Is there a way to work around this issue

you must use the read more element from the left panel of the pagebuilder, and not the read more from an article/editor

I cannot insert
Lire la suite in to the text column i only can put it after the text or before it i feel stupid

this is a limitation from the page builder, you can not use the readmore in the text
you should create 2 text parts, with the readmore element between

i create collums below the firstone insert read more between with no desired effect

what is supposed to be the "desired effect" ?
