The question would better be : When would Warp use the Joomla standards ? ...
It does not work with Warp because they override a lot of procedures in Joomla!, and to be honest I will not follow such things.
Ask the Yootheme developpers to ask them why the ?tp=1 is not working correctly in their framework

I have just checked again with the latest Master framework, and it does not work at all. You only see the modules positions, but nothing from Modules Manager CK is loaded in the template
