MobileMenuCK not showing (version with toggle buttons) was created by konstantin
Hi there! I have to manage our company homepage now that was set up by externals using MaxiMenuCK and MobileMenuCK.
Problem: The standard menu displays fine. When switching to a mobile device, I seem to get the MaxiMenu (just restyled for responsive) but not the MobileMenuCK which should have the [+] to toggle? We need this because also the parent pages link to pages and cannot be used to toggle.
In the settings tab of MaxiMenuCK, the tab "Mobile menu CK" has "Enable = YES" / Detection: Tablet and phone / Place: current menu.
Pages seem to have JS for both "new Maximenuck" and "new MobileMenuCK", i.e. modules seem be active?
Please check neuro_proof.com (without underscore). I'm a bit lost for ideas, any input is greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi
What I see is that the toggle button that you get is coming from your template. This is NOT Mobile Menu CK
Mobile Menu CK is loaded but there is a CSS problem in the page. The problem could be related to your template because I don't see any css loaded as it should in a normal website
Please try to switch to the template Cassiopeia to make some test and tell me if it works

Hi, it took a while to set up a local copy to experiment with.
I could switch to the Cassiopeia theme but had to move the Maxi Menu CK from "position-7" to "menu".
On the desktop, it shows the horizontal menu (but oddly not on the start page).
In mobile mode, there is your Mobile Menu CK with the toggler (+) buttons!
It also puts a bunch of CSS for Mobile Menu CK into the header (style... Mobile Menu CK ...) which is missing with our template.
OK, something is weird with our template? Both JS (Maxi/Mobile) are included in the header of our template like with Cassiopeia. Both also refer to "#maximenuck131" which is correct.
How can a template prevent the loading of Mobile Menu CK but Maxi Menu CK is loading fine? Any suggestions what I could do? Remove the CSS from our style css? Put the menu into a different position?
Again, thank you further advice.

from what I have seen, your template does not load any additional css from extensions
the maximenu was rendering correctly because of the styles from the template, the css from maximenu were also not loaded
there is something wrong in the template, you shall check in the settings if you have some optimization option, or anything related to CSS that you can deactivate
or contact its developer ...

FANTASTIC! It works now!
I compared our template to Cassiopeia and found that ours missed the jdoc:include type="styles" statement (which loads all moduls' CSS). I suppose the developer (who is gone) wasn't able to style the menu or had too little understanding what that was for. Everything works and looks pretty much as intended.
Again, CEd, I'm incredibly grateful for the pointers!
