Update to 1.0.11 problems

In trying to update to latest release I first got an error can't update over Mobile Menu CK Light, so I trCK Pro and I got
Error updating COM_INSTALLER_TYPE_TYPE_.
As I recall I have never had any success in updating so I have been downloading and installing, suggestions please.....
What to do ????

I have just checked and updated from 1.0.10 to 1.0.11 and it works


can you download the files from joomlack.fr and install them manually, then tell me if it works or if you get another message

Yes downloading and installing is the only way I can "update", so not sure it's a problem....

so if I understand you are able to do it manually
have you followed these steps to register your website for automatic updates ?

That's probably why I can't update, I don't recall having done that, I will certainly get it done, again it works just downloading and installing without any problems, but I will follow the proper update procedure !

the extensions manager ck is not something necessary, so you can continue to download and update manually
