any chance this can work with custom fields ?

This is pretty cool. I am needing a solution where an image from a custom field. The core media field has an option to include "Image Description (Alt Text)" and Tassos Advanced Gallery fields include a caption. I need the images to link to external urls... I am thinking this sin't possible, but can't hurt to ask

thanks Ced, I was able to get it to work with Advanced custom Fields Gallery but I assumed it would work for the core media field and I am still working on that. Cool new option - thanks !
