Odd report in Joomla Upgrade check for Extns Mgr

I'm updating to Joomla 5.1.0 (all from Joomla 5.0.3 sites) and keep running into this issue. The update checker (which I understand is kind of useful if you're not already on 5.x.x, but otherwise, is just another annoying 3 wasted clicks) keeps reporting that I need to upgrade extensions manager from the installed version of 1.4.0 to an available, current, version of 1.4.1. But that doesn't exist on your site?????

Huh, even odder! I downloaded the "latest" version of EM earlier this morning from  www.joomlack.fr/en/component/dms/?task=view_document&id=152 and definitely got 1.4.0. Now I see it's downloading v1.4.1.
