Carousel CK shows up as empty

Somehow the Carousel CK shows up empty *if* I select autoload from articles as the source. Slide manager works well, and autoload from a folder works just as well.

Well, there are images in the articles I selected first. I used them with another (inferior) content slider. But right now, I try to redesign margareta-curkaszda.com and ran into 2 issues.

The first was this issue where it didn't load the images from the articles, and the 2nd one is a positioning issue on my fathers iPad, when I used the slide manager. Some parts of the menu is covered by the carousel. Even after I added a lot more padding in Template Creator CK.

(On another site I had some issues with Image Effects CK, but I think I know what caused that problem)

for the articles, you must check the options because in most cases it is just one thing that is not set up correctly (category, filter, or else)

Tried a lot of different settings, don't know what caused the issue. I even tried to set up all categories, or the category I used with a content slider before, adjusted each and every filter setting, etc.
