Tooltips height not automatic on 4.0.5

could you please try with a tooltip where you have only a text, without image, to see if this works or if you have the same problem

Thanks for your help Cédric! Yes, when I only have text in the tooltip it's working as it should even when I use CTRL+F5 to refresh (tested with firefox and chrome).

BUT if I had text above or below the image, then the problems comes back.

Is there a special style to apply to the image to make sure the height of the tooltip will adjust to the content when it's an image?

I think this is a css issue. You can try to add <span style="clear:both"></span> just after your image in your code
