Description not displayed on mobile
Hi Cedric,
I'm using the Mediabox Pro in the following article:
eume.upf.org/what-we-do/conferences/peac...ores-korea-s-future#
If one clicks on the captions of the images, it displays the photo and a description of the person. At least, this works for me on my computer, but it does not display the description on my mobile phone. At least, it's not visible.
Also, I had to enlarge the images themselves to a suitable size, in order to get all of the description to be visible on my computer. I could not get the parameters to override the size of the box to work.
Am I doing something wrong?
I see in a previous post that you advised someone to add some custom code:
#mbCenter.mediaboxckmobile #mbContainer {
height: calc(100% - 51px) !important;
}
If I should also do that, can you tell me where to add it?

Hi
this is because the description is hidden on mobile
You can override it with the following css

Hi Cedric,
Thanks for your reply. I tried this but it didn't seem to work. At least, I do not see the text. I made a similar change for the title and that worked.
At the same time, I'm nearly always losing some of the text, because the photo takes up most of the space in the box and so the text is cut off.
Is it possible to make the box scrollable?
Or if what I really want is the text, should I be using something other than Mediabox CK?
Many thanks for your help.
Alan

Hi
if you want a lightbox, then Mediabox CK is the right tool
but if you want to show the text, then you shall give a link to an article, not to an image. You can link your article and add "&tmpl=component" to the url to show only the article without the whole template
hope it helps

Sorry to go about this, Cedric. I found a solution in the sense that if I put a wide but thin rectangular image, then I get the whole text displayed on the computer. However, on the mobile phone, all of the space is occupied by the image, i.e. there is a lot of blank space displayed vertically, so there is no room for the text. Is there any way to have the image only take up the space it actually occupies on the mobile, in the same way that it does on the computer?

you can try that
but this becomes a specific behavior ...
Code:
#mbCenter.mediaboxckmobile #mbBottom { top: 50px; }
#mbCenter.mediaboxckmobile #mbBottom { overflow: auto; }
