Good day!
Using Mediabox CK 2.2.11 on latest joomla.
Problem is dimensions i wrote in "rel" tag do not work.
The page (yeah, i know the design is crappy - not my fault)
the code:
Code:
<div class="sertif"> <a href="/images/sertif/lab-attestat.pdf" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/lab.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/01full.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/01prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/02full.jpg" rel="lightbox[150 150]"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/02prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/03full.jpg" rel="lightbox[150px 150px]"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/03prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/04full.jpg" rel="lightbox[10% 10%]"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/04prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/05full.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/05prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/06full.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/06prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/07full.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/07prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/08full.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/08prev.jpg" /> </a> <a href="/images/sertif/09full.jpg" rel="lightbox"><img alt="" src="/images/sertif/09prev.jpg" /> </a> </div>
as you see, used lots of syntax variants (don't know what is correct one) - it's just being ignored, every image have the box of the same size, kinda always goes to 100% of the screen.

Thanks

Hi
for images, it takes the width of the image, simply :)
the dimensions are useful for frames, videos, etc ...

so if you want your image to show in a 640xx480 box, your image must be 640x480px

Well, that goes from the habbit to upload (reasonable) larger images, then needed, just in case one day you'll need it in larger scale and you'll not have to search for originals once more. )
Anyway, thanks!

I understand :)
if you have large image, I think it stupid (sorry for that ;) ) to show it in a small area. Why don't you let your big image show as big as possible then ? Because if you have a 1200x large image and you show it in 600px, the user will anyway download the 1200px image, even if it shows only into a small area

In most situations - agree.
But, for example, page width is limited to 1200px, and you open the image in a box with 1920px width (horizonal image) - it looks kinda off. And in some simple images there's no point to zoom that much.
Larger image is larger not for user zooming - it can be used as material for slideshows if a site owner wants to place some promo banner or something like that - allows to chop the img without losing much quality.

yes but in this case, mediabox will not show the image bigger than the screen, because it is responsive :)
have you tested ?
