Keybord Navigation Delay in Mediabox

Hi,
I'm using the mediabox (great plugin and realised that the keyboard navigation works with a delay: ones I navigate e.g. with the left arrow key to the previous picture it takes about 5 sec. until I can use keybord navigation again: example (tested on chrome, edge and FF)
Is there a way to fix this or to minimize the delay?

I have just tested by my side on my website and it works, and also on my demo

So I suppose that something is interfering on your website because checking your page I have the same problem.
Try to unpublish the other additional plugins and modules and test if it works. If yes, then one of them is the problem
(the template seems not in cause as I have just tested with protostar on your website and the same problem occurs)

I got it. It is the image slider I'm using as a header that is causing the delay.
I had to disable the keybord navigation for the slider and now it works (it is the ari image slider if anyone wants to know).
