Hello,
Yes, that is quite possible, it would have been updated in the update notificication with other updates.
Also, just so you know, I do copy one of your themes and modify the css, but I don't think that should have anything to do with this issue??

no the theme as no impact, I think about a joomla problem because all the install/update process is managed by joomla

I had the website on my localhost without the issue, I installed the updates but I could not reproduce the issue, very strange.
Do you have an idea how I an remove this from the component menu?

this is in the database, in the menu admin. You must edit your database and remove this entry
