Hi,

I want to upgrade Joomla 2.5 to 3. I got a highly customized version of maximenu v6 on my joomla site and I want to spend as little time as possible on upgrading. As far as I understand there is a maximenu of version 6 for

www.joomlack.fr/en/joomla-extensions/maximenu-ck

My Questions:
1. Am I able just to upgrade Joomla, install version 6 of maximenu for J3 and perform the (or simmilar) changes on my customized files? This should be the fasted update if possible.
2. Where am I able to download the old versions of the maximenu (v6 / v7)?

Hi
there is no v6 for joomla 3. The equivalent is the v7
But I would suggest you to migrate to the v8 directly as the v6 and v7 are osbolete
First you must do your migration process of your website on a copy of your website. Then install the v8 over the existing and do
- edit the module
- set the option for the oritentation in the styles tab
- set the theme again in the styles tab
- go in the advanced tab and select the layout "default2" to keep your old display

Try this and it should work

Is the workflow then?

1. upgrade maximenu 6 to 8 and upgrade other used ck plugins
2. upgrade Joomla! 2.5 to 3
3. reinstall maximenu 8 and upgrade / install other used ck plugins

no, first upgrade to joomla 3, then upgrade the maximenu and other modules/plugins

as said, you must do it on a copy website, not on the live one.
