Mobile phone use case problem was created by Evan
I am trying to design a website that is fully responsive using Joomla 3.3.6 and implementing the main menu with Maximenu CK. Everything works great on a desktop. Unfortunately, when looking at the website with by Droid Maxx (Android cellphone), I can select the sub menu pages easily but am unable to select the main menu page. I am hoping that the website will not require a mobile version to properly work. Is this a bug? Or, is this a feature request? Or, is there a workaround that you would recommend?

Hi
if you are talking about the parent item, yes this has already been discussed here.
1 touch on the screen = 1 action
here the action is to open the submenus, because it is needed to access all pages.
If you also need the parent items to be clickable I would suggest to use the Maximenu Mobile solution :

Hi,
I have a similar issue with mobile responsivenes. I have the Maximenu Mobile solution activated. Yet on my Android tablet in Chrome the menu is rendered like on a desktop (Desktop mode is disabled) and the main items are not accessible.
Any clue how I can force the menu to render as mobile for Android tablets?
By the way: Fantastic component. Together with Template Creator I could implement a style guide requirement within very short time, and it works like a charm (on desktops, and in all major browsers)
Thanks, Andreas

Hi
for your problem, on tablets and phones the menu will detect it and then set the parent click to open the submenu like explained before. This is not an issue but the native behavior
If you want to have a more advanced mobile menu I would suggest to have a look at the maximenu mobile plugin

Hi,
I did and as I mentioned, the Maximenu Mobile Plugin is in place on the site, it is also activated and enabled. It just seems to make no difference on my tablet.
You can check the behaviour on www.pmi-austria.org/
Kind regards,
Andreas

ok, then the resolution set in the plugin options is probably to low for your tablet.
You can try to set it to be for "tablet and phone" instead of "resolution"
