[solved] Multilingual website with J1.7 problem was created by hede
Hello!
my setup:
J1.7.2
MaximenuCK 5.22
sh404SEF
English Language installed - standard
German Language installed
problem: the "Default Page" of the non standard language has the language code attached to the link like domain.tld/lang. That is true for the standard Joomla menu module but its not for MaximenuCK.
It doesnt matter if sh404SEF is in use or not. MaximenuCK never attaches the /lang code. The reason might be that in the "Menu Manager: Menus" view under "Modules Linked to the Menu" Maximenu ist not linked to the menus despite in "Modules" the MaximenuCK is connected to the menu. When I use the Joomla standard menu module the link is displayed, the /lang is attached and everything works as expected.
Is there a solution to this problem?
Cheers

hi
you can try the 'route home page' option in the module so you should have the language tag. You can test it on my website :http://www.joomlack.fr/en/ the home link returns to the /en language.
But I'm on Joomla1.5, so you must try and tell me.
