MaxiMenu as accordian menu to the left

Hi
Starting to get a hold of MaxiMenu now. Very good module
Now I have a question
MAXIMEU is currently working fine as a top menu
I now wanted to create a menu on the left side working as an accordian menu
I tried to use the "wizard" and in the last step it seems like it should be possible but i cant get it to work.
Have a look at attached file. Look at "Sector Test"
The menu is pushed to the right. I can also get it to drop down BUT it then drops on top of the other menu points.

I then downloaded your Accordian menu and tried to set this up. Have a look at Sectors to the left. I am having problems to style it as the top menu drop down(SECTORS)
I tried to change background color of EDUCATION to dark blue in the MENU MANAGER but its not changing

So here is my question
Should it be possible to get any of the 2 to work with styling to get it to look like the top one.
Bear in mind that the left menu also have submenus

yes you must use the accordion menu for the left. You can style it using CSS, or with the plugin accordeon params to give the background of your parent item for example

Have purchased and seems to be working fine.
