Issue with Menu Headings not showing in IE

Good morning/afternoon,

Love this Menu, keep up the great work. I have been working on making sure that content is displayed consistently regardless of the browser and noticed that Menu Headings are displayed as expected in browsers other than IE. I've attached two images to show you what we are seeing.






Any suggestions as to what may be preventing IE from displaying the text?

Apparently there was something wrong with the menu item. I deleted it and recreated which resolved the issue.
