your syntax is bad, loook on the web how to call a background image
background-image: url(../images/yourimage.jpg);

I changed it, but still no result. I would really apriciated if you could help me a little bit more. I have placed a attachment what I'm trying to acomplish. Can you please help me with the right syntax and on which line I should place it?

you must write this exactly :
then your image does not exist here :
develop.ocmorgenstond.nl/modules/mod_max...enu/images/verticale lijn.png

remove the space in the image name, and check that it is in the place

anyway this is just a css issue, nothing related with the module...

I removed the space in the png name. And I do understand that this is a css issue. But it is in the css of the module and I can't figure on what line I should place the background image to get this the way I want. Can you tell me on which line I should place the background image?
