Adding transparency to background color of submenu was created by rowby
Hello!
I'm using the styles customization plugin.
Is there a way, within the styles customization menu to add a transparency to the buttons. Specifically the dropdown submenu buttons.
Or should I do that via a custom.css menu, or other css.
Thanks!

Hello
For my submenu (which is what I need to have a semi-transparent background) I created png image with a 70 percent normal transparency (in fireworks) and can't get it to be transparent as a background menu color....
Using styles customization.
I tried first a png background image with an alpha transparency
then I tried a png with an index transparency.
Neither worked for me.
I have not selected any background color. However I notice when I remove the image I still see a light whitish background, so I am thinking that the whitish background is interfering with the transparency. I double checked my styles customization settings but can't see where that light background is coming from.
If I put nothing in the color selection area and just use a background image could that light color be put in there by default? If so, how can I override it to be no color?
Elsewhere someone suggested I use a css solution such as opacity:.5 to make a color transparent. Could the perhaps be a solution? But I still have that lightish color background to get rid of, it seems to me!
???
Any thoughts?
Here is a link to a redirect to the page:

It's the top menu
Thanks!

Thanks for helping so quickly!
I downloaded your version and renamed it hasom-blue-new.png and added it to the
SUBMENU LINK - Normal state background image, amd left the color blank. Saved the panel then saved the module.
However it was not transparent.
As a test I have just now renamed the new png file so that it will not show up at all.
But if you click on the link you will see a light colored background color -- which may be preventing the background from showing through?????
