mobile menu j2.5 v1.1.0 image not showing without

I have installed both the latest versions of ck maximenu and the mobile plugin for joomla 2.5. But now the menu link will not show with just the image. But it will show with the image and text displayed. I have tried re-insatlling both items again. It does look like something hasn't installed correctly see attached image of for mobile menu under the link item. the same settings look fine under the maximenu settings. Any ideas?
