One menu hiding/covering another

One menu hiding/covering another was created by cpaschen
I've got two (dual) ck menus. One horizontal along the top, one vertical on the left.
When I select an item from the top that extends into the area of the left menu, the left menu hides the top's sub-menus.
I've tried to adjust the z-index level on each of them without any resolution.
I've also disabled mootools effects on both to test.
Each have different Module IDs.
It appears that the maximenuckv container (the main one for the left menu) is the thing that is covering the other menu (nothing higher-up in the template).
Not sure what else I can try other than z-index.
Any ideas?

HI
the first word to start a discussion would be "hello" ...
then look at this solution
forum.joomlack.fr/index.php/4-maximenu-c...d-vertical-menu#7919

Thanks.
That resolved the issue.
BTW ... It would be helpful if you could enable the standard Kunena menus so that we could navigate the form more easily (esp. the MyTopics option).

Greetings! I have tried the solution listed and can see in the code that it's applying it, but it isn't working.
Any other suggestions?

Here it is:
www.philsystems.com/new
The dropdowns for Support/About Us near the top right go under the horizontal menu in the black bar. Both are using Maximenu module.
Thanks!
