Fancy effect on menu w/o active class

Is it possible to do so that the fancy effect went out completely from the menu w/o active and current classes. Currently the fancy effect remains on the last mouseover item of such menu.

some people asked me to add the fancy effect on the menu even if there is no active item.
Now you would like to keep this effect but that when you leave the menu the effect disappear if there is still no active item ?

when page is loaded the menu with no active item has no highlighting. That's ok. When I move the mouse over this menu the fancy_bg starts running over the mouse. That's nice. But when I remove the mouse from this menu, the latter highlighted item is still highlighted. So I have two visually active items, one in the active menu and one in the inactive menu. This is misleading.
It would be great if when I remove the mouse from this inactive menu, the highlighting (fancy_bg) disappeared, as it was before moving mouse over the menu.
