Plugin Maximenu CK Params v3 - Joomla 3.x

Hello,
We have problems to install this in our Joomla 3.03.

We can install a lot of other things from you without any problem but not this one:
plg_maximenuckparams_3.0.7_j30

We got this error :
-"Warning
Copy failed

JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file ................/joomla/tmp/install_5195e7b4bafe7/plg_maximenuckparams_3.0.7_j30/maximenuckparams.php to ................/joomla/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/maximenuckparams.php

Message
Error installing plugin".

Could you or anyone else here in this forum give us some help with it?

this is strange
try to extract the files and copy them into
/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/

then go in the extension manager >> Discover and see if you can install it in this way

I did what you now told us but nothing happens.

Then we tried to use the "Install from Directory" and following error came up:

Warning
Copy failed

JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /home/d10422/public_html/joomla/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/maximenuckparams.php to /home/d10422/public_html/joomla/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/maximenuckparams.php

by my side it works (just retested)
if the plugin is already installed and you want just to update it, you can copy/paste the files directly in the folder with FTP

That is exactly what we did.
This is aa aviation company with IT-professionals and we are quiet familiar with FTP and other website management systems.

We did like this:
1:
We did extract the files and copied them (via FTP of course)into
/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/ on our server.

2:
Then we tried to use the "Install from Directory" and following error came up:
JInstaller: :Install: Failed to copy file /home/d10422/public_html/joomla/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/maximenuckparams.php to /home/d10422/public_html/joomla/plugins/system/maximenuckparams/maximenuckparams.php

We did follow the answer from you regarding nr 2 in our answer above:
