Menu appears at bottom of page IE7 and 8

I have your Mobile maximenu installed on my Joomla 3 Site.

All works fine but a mobile type menu appears at the bottom of the page on Desktop computers in Internet Explorer 7 and 8 Browsers for some reason and I can't remove it! Any idea?

I've a script error as well but don't think they are connected. See enclosed screenshot for the error

this is because IE7-8 does not manage the mediaqueries I suppose
I have to detect the browser liek I did in the J!2.5 version
please remind me in few days because I'm busy now

I have now updated the plugin in 1.0.9b on joomlack.fr
let me know if this works for you, the mobile menu will not be executed anymore on IE (IE is not a mobile browser )

thank you very much, for the correction with the IE7, it was very helpful to me, becauce this week I finished a new site with your maximenu und the mobile plugin and it works

God dammend IE7

appr. 50% of the users use IE7 on the old page, what I have redesigned now.
