I now found out why the top fixed did not work.
It seems to be a conflict with jquery.
I am using the uniform js to have nice forms.
Therefore I have this in my head sections:

This is what makes the top fixed function crashing! When I delete it, top fixed works!
I also tried jquery easy plugin, but it won't work for me because the uniform js only works when it is called immedeately after the google jquery library.
Do you have any ideas for this?
