shadow on 3 sides possible?

I have an older website where I placed an early versie of the menu module and used background images to create this:




The active page has a tab with 3 sides shadow and line. Only disadvantage is that all tabs have to stay the same width.

I am curious if this is also possible within your maximenu (with all extra plugins added) or that I better code it in CSS outside the module.

as far as I have seen, 3 sided shadows will need some soort of hiding with overflow.

the maximenu params will allow you to put the shadow, color etc, but not to hide the bottom of the button to not have the shadow for example

Hi Ced, I got all you plugins and docs and of course found the shadow option but was wondering if this tab was possible within the backend.
Guess your answer is "no".

Back to hand coding CSS then.

my answer is "not really", you can do it with images in the backend like you already did but this means fixed width
else you can set a full shadow
