Plugin doesnt seem to have any effect ?

I am using the latest of all the modules/plugin on a 2.5 virtuemart installation. Trying to colour the hover over state of the menu in black at the top of the categories.

I have tried adjusting the settings in the module under "Styles Customization" and editing the ""Edit the styles: Link level 1 - Active state" amongst others and i am getting no change in my menu at all.

im sure i have something wrong but cant find it - help please !!

it seems that you have an extension that loads this in the page :

.li-banner .caption_title{font-size:

as the line is not correctly ended it breaks the other css styles that are then loaded by maximenu

you must delete this li-banner

thanks - i dont know how to track this banner down, can you assist at all please ?

I have no idea of what is this, you must unpublish all your extensions one by one

thsnks ced - i have found 4 modules that cause the menu to not work then.
They are all custom html modules.

to give me some idea of why this happens can you tell me why the copyright module set to position copyright-a has the following html in it :

<strong><span style="color: #000000;" class="copytext">Copyright 2012 Trident Medical</span></strong>

why would this stop the menu working please ?

I don't know, I have told you that the li-banner css in your page is killing the other css.I don't know what is this, something you have installed.
