I'm not a big fan of mootools but I needed it for the overflow detection, otherwise the menu would fall off the side of the screen for smaller resolutions. Is there a way to do this without the mootools on?
If that's not possible; when I activate mootools, the dropdowns get a certain height, but it's too much.

yes I see the problem, but I have no way to find what is the problem as the height is given in javascript by the browser. Please try with another template like beez_20 to see if you have the same issue
