IE8 problems

I wonder if you could help me out with Maximenu. As always everything is fine in other browsers but not in IE. 7 and 9 have little issues but nothing serious. IE8 though has serious problems. You could look here: www.autobsc.cz/site/

I made an ie8.css and called it just like you call ie7.css in the mod_maximenuck.php file right after it, only not lte, just normal <!--[if IE 8]>. Somehow I think this file is not being called at all. Whatever changes I make the result seems the same. I must mention that I am on a Mac and I get the test results from Adobe Browserlab. It's the 2nd day I'm trying to figure this out. Going a little mental on it already. Would you be able to have a look and share if you have an idea how to get it work?
