Issue with Mootools - IOS IPad / IPhone

following issue with IOS and menu items with subitems

I have defined some of my menu items at level 1 as seperators - means that they are not connected with an article or something else.

Case 1: Mootools effect is on.
It doesn't matter which item on level 1 I click - the submenu of the last menu item at level 1 opens. :S
(It also happens on desktop pc - so maybe it's a template issue and I can live with)
But: The submenu opens.


Case 2: Mootools effect is off.
The submenu of a level 1 menu item only opens if this level 1 menu item is not a separator (which I want to have). If the menu item is connected e.g. with an article - it works perfectly.


Does ckmenu generally work on IOS when the menu item on level 1 is defined as separator and Mootools effect is off?

To make some complicated things more complicated, have a look at the results:

Using Mootools: yes
- on mouseover:
- IOS: menu works perfect
- Desktop: menu is shifted to the left (usually the left border of the submenu starts at the beginning of the main menu item – now the right border of the submenu ends at the end of the main menu item

- on click:
- IOS: menu works perfect
- Desktop: menu works perfect

Using Mootools: no
- on mouseover:
- IOS: submenu only works if the main menu item is not a separator
- Desktop: menu works perfect
- on click:
- IOS: only works if the main menu item is not a separator
- Desktop: menu works perfect
