Removing link description

So I did this and it still didn't work. The space is still there.

Just to be clear, I've circled the space here that I am trying to remove:

ok ! so it is just the menu height ? look at the beginning of the file, on ul.maximenuck

YEP, found it under the text height. However, now the bar that hovers over the current page is still too big, mind pointing me in the right direction on where to change the height of that?
