Level 1 menu item hover class

This should be a standard module with Joomla. Just sayin'.

I fiddled around with the css to get the result I required but I think I'm missing something.
In the website linked below I installed the module and activated the main menu. When you hover over a main item the subitems roll out below, but when you move you mouse away from the main item the hover class disappears.

Any chance somebody here knows how to fix this?

you have set the :hover on the a, you should add the :hover on the li
div#mainmenu ul.maximenuck li.level1:hover > a span.titreck
