Sub menu appears to be hidden

HI

I have searched through the forum and although similar issues posted afraid i am having no luck in resolving things at my end

My sub menu, which should appear on hovering, appears to be hidden. My site is currently locally hosted so afraid i cannot share the url

I love the menu module just needing to get this bit figured out.Below is the css for the menu concerned. I am pretty new to all of this so i may need a few really simple pointers. Also attached is a screen shot which shows me hovering over the class pages menu item and the submenu does not appear.

Any ideas gratefully received?

As you can see from the site the rest is very much in development! All help re the maxi menu would be hugely appreciated

this is due to the overflow:hidden; on
#headerwrapper line 145 in www.zealouskite.co.uk/templates/boxschool/css/template.css

but deleting this will cause some bugs in your template
