"NativeJoomla" variant displaying strangely in IE7

Hi Ive been playing with this last few days, I cant seem to find out why the nativejoomla styled maximenu is displaying strangely in IE. Firefox is just fine but in IE the padding isnt appearing around the menu buttons at all.

Has anyone else found this before?

Example URL problem can be seen (menu in middle of page implemented using the funkyness that is maximenuck in nativejoomla mode)

Any thoughts v welcome cause website cant go live without it.

this is because the code is not the same, please have a look at the source code. And in fact this is only a bit of cSs to manage ....
