Submenu Stays Open After Click

Joomla 2.5 with Beez 20 template, mootools enabled.

After clicking on a submenu item the submenu remains open...thus covering up a portion of the body content after the page has loaded.

The only way to make the submenu retract is to mouseover and away from the container. Also, if you refresh a submenu page the container reopens and you have to do the whole mouseover thing again to get it out of the way. Happens with all browsers. Very annoying.

How do you make the submenu container close after the page loads?

please check that you don't have the option enabled "open active submenu on page load"

Maybe I've missed it, but I've looked in all of the MenuCK options and don't see "open active submenu on page load" as a parameter.

Where might I find this option?

in the effect tab, just over the "fancy options"

Ahh. Yes. "Show the active sub-menus" is checked "No". The "on page load" part lost me for a bit.

I'd prefer to keep the url private and not post here on the forum.
