More invalid markup - missing ending </li>

When a parent item has more than one column, all items except for the last item in each column are missing the ending </li> and this is causing invalid markup:

I am attaching a file that includes the html markup. I've added <!-- MISSING ENDING /li TAG --> everywhere where the ending </li> tag is missing.

I'm guessing that this needs to be corrected in the default.php file?...I just can't figure out where.
