Level 1 items on ipad

Hi guys, has anyone had any weird experiences with maximenu on ipads? Ive got a couple of levels on my menu all of which link through to articles. The menu's superb thanks to the level of configurability of the maximenu ck module and plugin.

Seem to be finding some anomalies however on the ipad. Top level items when clicked dont open the articles, drop down menus take a couple of clicks to show the level 2 items in drop down menu.

Has anyone else seen anything similar happen? Im using a yootheme at present in Joomla 2.5.4.

Any thoughts v welcome, btw I wasnt sure how to find the version of maximenu installed else Id have put that in to see if itd help.

One thought at present the action to open menus is on mouseover as most of our visitors are computer based. Would I set this to on click to overcome issues on the ipad or is there a better way to ensure that level 1 menu items are clickable (to access the article assigned to them) and will also drop down level 2 menu items.

Hi, will check, I had tried to find the version number will recheck the admin panel. Will try upgrading to the latest edition. Would I need to update the maximenu plugin and menu templates I purchased too?
Im using the orange menu from your pack of three menu templates.

non need to update something else, just download the last version and install
