IE7 submenus stay open AFTER click on content

Hi - thank you for all your work.

We have encountered a strange problem, possibly a bug:
in IE7 only - submenus stay open AFTER click on content layer behind them

on mouse over all is fine - menu works perfectly - then click on anything outside of the menu and you will see all submenus stay open thereafter.
Once you reload the browser, all is fine again...

this is a known issue in IE7 when you don't enable mootools effects. use mootools effect and set duration to 0 to emule and render as it is now

I'd like exactly the contrary.

I'd like to know how to let the submenu open once and only if you've clicked on one of its link.

I'm working with joomla 1.7, and not specifically on IE.
