Same problem.. in my case is the first element with class "first" witch is a separator menu item.
Ive tried to find the problem in the "tpl" folder on "default" file but i couldnt find it.

Waiting the new release. Do you know when it will be ready more or less?

Thank you

The strange thing is that if i check the li tag with the chrome developer console it seems to be good, but if i watch the source code the li end tag is missing. I dont know.. hope this helps...

thank you,
perfect,

just for info: in my very very special case, using only images from 2.level on,
only firefox and only when going first time to the site: the background is not going down all the way (like if there are only 3 items in a category/colum, but it's 9).
it's like the menu got interrupted in culculating the total amount of height... or maybe not knowing how high an item is. (no other extentions installed) i solved it this way:

div#maximenuck ul.maximenuck li ul.maximenuck2 li.maximenuck {
height: 52px; line-height: 52px; }

(all my images are height: 52px)

maybe this helps someone, great menu!
