Dropdown Menu on Mouseover Works on Home Page

I'm using version 4.33 of Maxi Menu CK in a Joomla version 1.5.26 site. For the sake of this discussion, I'm using the default theme, the CSS of the module is enabled and the menu orientation is set to horizontal. The mootools effects are enabled and the style of the rollover is set to On Click.

The dropdown menus open with a click of the mouse on all pages as expected with the exception of the home page. On the home page, all submenus appear when the mouse is hovered over the parent menu item.

How can I disable the hover function on all pages?

So far it is only on my own computer operating under XAMPP.

I discovered that I have a Javascript error on the page in question. It is in a date generating function and not directly related to the Maxi Menu. It may be affecting the menu, though. I'll repair that first and see if the onClick/onHover action changes.

I found that the JSlideShow module on the home page was corrupting the date picker and the Maxi Menu module. I have the latest version of JSlideShow and can't repair it, so I'll use a different article rotator. With that module removed, the Maxi Menu works as expected on all pages.
