logo in menu disappears on some URLs

this is a SEF config issue, as you mentioned
try to edit your configuration.php file and add your domain in the "live_site" variable, then check if it works

Unfortunately that has not resolved the issue.  However, I am wondering if this is only an issue on a staging site.  Let me check more thoroughly before declaring it a problem.

then in the image path, try to add a slash at the beginning
/images....
