I have tested, by my side with I go in the submenu I don't have the blank color. I have the black color for the parent item, when going in the submenu

did you manage to fix it ?

And you are not able to choose the background color for the active element?
Do you use and edit a "style" for the menu-module?
Do you know how to use Maximenu CK?
I ask, because I see a lot of menu css in your custom css..
i.e.
Code:
#sp-header.header-sticky div#maximenuck220.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1.active > a span.titreck, #sp-header.header-sticky div#maximenuck220.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1.active > span.separator span.titreck, #sp-header.header-sticky select#maximenuck220.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck{ color: #252525!important; } ...much more
In Pro version this should NOT be necessary, isn't it!

Regards.
