apply maximenu to exiting joomla menu

Hi All
I have J4 site and have installed Maximenu, my question is can I style my existing menus with the Maximenu or must I start from the beginiing and make new menus.

Maximenu CK is a module, it can not style other menus
but you can publish the maximenu module in the same place as your existing menu and use the theme "blank" to get the existing styles apply to the menu
then if you want you can create a style and apply it to the menu and update the styles
