Functionality of certain plugins
Is there any documentation on the following plugins for MaximenuCK:
Articles by date
Categories
Menus
System - Maximenu CK
I presume that the System plugin is needed for the basic functionality of MaximenuCK, and I would imagine that the Menus plugin is also necessary.
How and when would the other two be called? Can they be safely disabled?
Thank you!
Kind regards
Bruce

Hi
all the maximenuck type plugins are a type of source. For example the menus plugin allows you to load the menu, the article by date allows to load the articles in the menu sorted by date ... etc
so if you want to use only one source, you can disable the other. You must keep the system plugin enabled
but I wonder why you want to disable these plugins, as they are only called if you need them (selected in the module option)

PS : a doc on how to use them integrated in a normal menu, instead of having them by source
