Custom styling using CSS was created by Bruce27
I notice that the documentation for MaxiMenuCK
gives instructions for CSS styling
using the file maximenuck.php. Up to now I have been doing this in my custom.css file.
Is there any benefit (e.g. speed, etc.) to using the maximenu.php file rather than custom.css?
When using the maximenu.php file, should I just add my css code to it using <style></style> tags at the end?
Thank you for your help!
Kind regards
Bruce

Hi
there is no real benefits if you want to have everything wrapped in the template
the advantage to have it in the file from the maximenu theme is that it can be used for multiple modules because the ID is automatically replaced using the code <?php echo $id; ?>
you can also use the styling interface from the admin if you don't want to write css
