Padding Problem

Hi,

Actually I got it working last night by adding the following lines

div#<?php echo $id; ?> ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck a:hover, a:active{
background : #ED7100;
list-style : none;
border : none;
padding : 10px;
margin : 0px ;
}

div#<?php echo $id; ?> ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck a:link, a:visited{
list-style : none;
border : none;
padding : 10px;
margin : 0px ;
}

Was that the right way to go?
