mod-languages no more displayed in menu after upgrade to Joomla4

Hello,
I have updated my Joomla site from V3 to V4 and maximenu CK from 9.1 to V10.0.0 PRO. All's well apart from the language selector module associated to a menu item that is no more displayed. It is not injested in the HTML code of the page.
The language selector menu is still associated to the menu item in maximenuCK, it displays correctly when assigned to a position...

I have tested with other modules and the problem is the same. It is as if the module loading function is not working anymore.

The issue is that I don't know where to look to identify the problem.

What could be the reasons for this issue? How can I localise (I can put traces in the code if I am told which php files I should have a look at) ?

please check in the module assignment options that it is assigned to all pages

thx for your anwser. Yes the module is assigned to all pages.
Position is set to none. Don't know if this is correct this is how it was before the upgrade.
