Menu is not showing changes on live site

I have Maximenu CK installed on a copy of my site in a test area. I have loaded the menu and it works fine. Then I installed it on the live site and it does not always reflect the changes I make after saving. Sometimes is shows different versions in different browsers. I have tried clearing cache, restarting computer, viewing on different devices. I am seeing the menu since if I change from horizontal to vertical is changes immediately. What I am trying to do is edit the styles - but usually nothing changes. Any ideas?

check in the module >> style >> use compile CSS >> set it on COMPILE
check if this works
