Hello, I'm working on settings for the top level of a Maximenu in Joomla 3

I have border colors set for Hover and a different set of colors for Active using the styles editor.

The actual menu shows the Hover settings for both.

Inspecting with menu items with Firefox Developer tools, the menu item lists these as all the same settings (the Hover border I have set up)

div#sdr-topmega.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1.active,
div#sdr-topmega.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1.parent.active,
div#sdr-topmega.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1:hover,
div#sdr-topmega.maximenuckh ul.maximenuck li.maximenuck.level1.parent:hover

How should I split them?

Hi
in the interface there is a button "use same styles as hover" >> you shall put it on NO
then save the styles and tell me if it works

Perfect.

I saw the button, but didn't understand "idem." In English "Same" would be a better choice.

Thank you so much for your quick response.
