MaxiMenu CK does not work for Hikashop

After may hours can only get std menu configured as you can see on site. Can I get someone to look over my work to ascertain why Hikashop does not work. I am unable to get settings to look at Hikashop subcategories, only Products. From there no amount of configuration re colours or sub-menu widths take effect. Bought Maximenu CK Pro yesterday.

Yes I have. Both plugins enabled. I don't get what you show at 2.2. Configure the module to load the categories. See attached.

found it, you must use the style option of the module
for now you have edited each menu item to give a background color to them, this is not the correct solution
1/ style the menu from the module (global options)
2/ if needed , give a custom style to the menu items where you need it only
if you style the module with the styling options, it will also apply to your Hikashop menu

finally the Hikashop menu works correctly
